I have four varieties of lilacs here in the yard. I wait all year for the bouquet with all four together. Also, love the simple vase of the old fashioned purple lilacs.
Catherine and Scott started preparing and planting the two new raised veggie beds. It was a lot of fun, gardens survived, and aside from very dirty little white socks, no harm done! Of course, she sang, danced, marched, along with the ~helping~. Truly a lovely day.
